It’s here that Thor gets a distinct edge.  Thor’s weakness has been his rashness, or inexperience in his youth… much of which has diminished as the character has matured.  Superman has a well known weakness to all forms of kryptonite, but he also has a weakness to all forms of magic. Since Thor comes from Asgard, where magic and science are one and the same, he gains the upper hand. Indeed, even his primary weapons (Mjolnir and Stormbreaker) and enchanted by magic.
